HHFD of NYC's 40th Anniversary Celebration
Dear friends,
Hope you are well. It
is our great pleasure to invite you to join us to celebrate the 40th
anniversary of our service to the disabled of New York City! We are
so proud of the work we've done over these years, and want to take the
opportunity to celebrate the dedication and commitment that has made our
organization possible.
The date will be Saturday August 13th at 2:00 PM.
The place is Buckley's Restaurant, 2926 Avenue S, 11229 at the corner of Nostrand and S, Brooklyn.
The cost
will be $30 per member, $50 per nonmember or personal care assistant.
Make checks payable to Helping Hands for the Disabled of NYC and mail to
Alice Crespo, PO Box 9174, Astoria, NY 11103. You may also pay online
by going to our website, www.hhdnyc.org. Click on the donate tab, and in the message, write that this is for our Anniversary Party.
This will be a dress-up affair,
and we expect to arrange for some decorations. We encourage people to
bring guests, but please note their payment must also be sent in
advance. Please note that no money will be collected at the door, and if
you want to come you must pay in advance.

Please remember that we have our peer support group conference call
tonight at 7:00 PM. Everything discussed will be considered
confidential and kept between group participants only. Next Thursday,
August 4th at 7:00 PM will be our August general membership call. Finally, the August board meeting will
be held on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 at 6:00 PM. The number to call
